	Another great post. I don't think I have anything to add. Have you ever done a "boys" or "girls" song meme? I was thinking just last night how many songs I have with those words in them e.g. "Rough Boys", "Me And The Boys", "The Boys Are Back In Town", etc. Just thought it'd flow nicely after this one. Wow! Both versions of that song are terrific. A great punk ballad. That whole first album (Pure Mania) is just terrific, by the way. People get this idea that punk has no melodies, is just noise, etc. I urge anyone to pick up Pure Mania -- you can usually find it discounted in record stores. Almost every song is just perfect pop music. (Trivia: the great Irish band Stiff Little Fingers took their name from a Vibrators song.)

Another interesting bit of trivia: did you know that Hangin' on the Telephone by Blondie was a cover song, originally done by the Nerves? I just found out about it the other day, and now I can't stop telling people about it, despite the usual blank stares I get in return!

I totally forgot about The Equals, Eddy Grant's band - great tune! Back To The Egg is one of my favorite albums of all time, a true guilty pleasure. Jan & Dean are always welcome on the playlist - I had the chance to catch them during the second comeback tour. Fantastic choices!
