got the sack monday morning turning back
Since my post about the money woes of Wall Street, three of my friends have lost their jobs and I'm hearing stories of many more people that have either been laid off or let go. I guess that answers the question if there would be any fallout from the meltdown. It doesn't look like this week is starting out very well:
Asia Stocks, Euro Fall as Credit Crisis Widens; Treasuries Gain
Citizen Kane: Fired
Alex Chilton: Lost My Job - 5MB
Ben Folds: Fired - 6MB
Death Cab For Cutie: The Employment Pages - 7MB

The O'Jays: Laid Off - 3MB

Asian stocks and U.S. index futures fell as deteriorating credit markets prompted European governments to pledge bailouts for troubled banks. The euro slumped to a 13-month low, while Treasuries advanced.Hang tough. It might be time to dust off the apple carts.
