Kool Moe Dee, The Byrds, Demetri Martin, and Yes all under the same umbrella? This might just be the most ecclectic grouping yet.
Good Show!

Thanks! You know, after I compiled it, I took a step back and thought the same thing myself. That's what I aim for, so I'm a happy camper!

On the songs - I've been a Kool Moe Dee fan since day one, he's highly overlooked. King Radio wrote the song that later became a Calypso standard, that took some hunting. It seems no one posts any Mr. T Experience, which is odd since they're probably the best of the retro Bay Area Punk bands of the 90s. I love how badly people are confounded by the lyrics of I've Seen All Good People - over time, it's become a bit of a parlor game. Demetri Martin is a comedy god, in the next few years, I expect him to be a household name.

That's closer than some people get. This is my favorite comment at that page, not sure if people get the sarcasm:
I never knew that about Yes recording a song about the Nixon Administration's decision to remove the United States from the goal standard. That's astounding. There are some really fascinating facts you learn from reading these songfacts. Hats off to the guys at the website for doing their homework.
