sleep that knits the raveled sleeve of care

"Sleep that knits up the ravell'd sleeve of care" occurs in Act II, Scene II of Macbeth and is spoken by the title character. Here it is in context:

"Methought I heard a voice cry 'Sleep no more!
Macbeth does murder sleep', the innocent sleep,
Sleep that knits up the ravell'd sleeve of care,
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath,
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast,--"

I'm off for some innocent sleep to get my care sleeves all knitted. I hope things are fine with you.

I hope this post tired me out enough so I can get my 40 winks on. Things are going wonderful - and you? Shakespeare sure had some great words on sleep:

O sleep! O gentle sleep!
Nature’s soft nurse, how have I frighted thee,
That thou no more wilt weigh my eyelids down
And steep my senses in forgetfulness?
Why rather, sleep, liest thou in smoky cribs,
Upon uneasy pallets stretching thee,
And hush’d with buzzing night-flies to thy slumber,
Than in the perfum’d chambers of the great,
Under the canopies of costly state,
And lull’d with sound of sweetest melody?
2 Henry IV (3.1.7-16)

We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.

yay shakespeare :)
I could see where it would be bad to fright your sleep.

My life has been a challenge of late.
My daughter has troubles that are not likely to go away
many solutions have not solved it
and I am trying to see to it that no ships sink

You must be pleased to have your first summer away from the beach - and nothing wild disturbing your sleep.

Somehow, someway, we persevere. I'm sure it'll all work out.

You must be pleased to have your first summer away from the beach

I'm eight blocks away - just far enough!

and nothing wild disturbing your sleep.

I don't like my sleep disturbed, but I wouldn't mind something wild in my bed!

As if they don't make gabzillion euros a year, they just picked up an outside job working at Deja Vu-Las Vegas. I hate to be one to spread rumors, but The Sun just reported they had simultaneous breast enhancement surgeries.

Oh no! There's tell-tale cleavage on top! That's why they're showing em off - they're not even their own boobs anymore!

Are they going to be doing lap dances in Vegas?

Maybe they will make a movie - the Olsen Twins take their new breasts to Jamaica - maybe it would be called - Tits and Voodoo, a New Olsen Twin Adventure.

New breasts for young girls is becoming mainstream now.

In Africa in Cameroon mothers iron their daughter's breasts to stunt their growth and keep their daughters from being sexually attractive. It is so sad. They would be better off with burkhas I think.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/5107360.stm

And finally, a bawdy poem I read the other day - to round out this breast exploration and add a little bounce:

Oh, I Wish I'd Looked After Me Tits
By Pam ('Chin') Aires

Oh, I wish I'd looked after me dear old knockers,
Not flashed them to boys behind the school lockers,
Or let them get fondled by randy old dockers,
Oh, I wish I'd looked after me tits.

'Cos now I'm much older and gravity's winning.
It's Nature's revenge for all that sinning,
And those dirty memories are rapidly dimming,
Oh, I wish I'd looked after me tits.

'Cos tits can be such troublesome things
When they no longer bounce, but dangle and swing.
And although they go well with my Bingo wings,
I wish I'd looked after me tits.

When they're both long enough to tie up in a bow,
When it's not the sweet chariot that swings low,
When they're less of a friend and more of a foe,
Then I wish I'd looked after me tits.

When I was young I got whistles and hoots,
From the men on the site to the men in the suits,
Now me nipples get stuck in the zips on me boots,
Oh, I wish I'd looked after me tits.

When picking them up requires some leverage,
When it's not so much lift as industrial heavage,
When there's more of a parting and less of a cleavage, I wish I'd looked after me tits.

When I was younger I rode bikes and scooters,
Cruising around with my favourite suitors.
Now the wheels get entangled with my dangling hooters, I wish I'd looked after me tits.

When they follow behind and get trapped in the door, When they're less in the air and more near the floor, When people see less of them rather than more,
Oh, I wish I'd looked after me tits.
