Thanks. It was so hot yesterday, I'd thought my brain was going to melt. It's usually temperate out here, so there's not may air conditioners around. Because of that, there wasn't many safe havens.

Philly jumped up a climate zone in the past few, so hot and muggy are the experience these days. I could live without it.

That's why my family moved to San Diego, to escape New York's three showers a day mugginess. It sucks when it shows it's sweaty head around here.

Yeah, the heat's making you guys crazy. I've already got to wear a jacket at night, and August isn't even over. Not to mention it snowed in June.

I left the heat and humidity of Virginia Monday morning (one night it was still 97 at 11pm; pic below shows the humidity suspended in the air) and came home to Washington (92 yesterday).



Today is supposed to be better at 85. I'll give your list some airtime, anyway. Thanks for sharing!

wow there's some great tracks here. it's bloody freezing and pissing it down here so the tracks are a little ironic for me, but brighten up the day anyhow :)

Thanks. Today it's a bit cooler, but yesterday you could've cooked eggs on the sidewalk. The stats tell me this was my most popular post yet, which is odd since it's a repost from last summer, but I didn't have as many readers then - the majority of people now visit via rss and atom. I ganked the idea of reposting from Chris over at Locust St, my favorite music blog. In that heat, even cutting and pasting was a chore.
