I really don't understand why everytime I watch shit like this it makes me cry.

It's nothing new. You'd think at some point it would stop affecting me so much.

I think about the war everyday, but there's two problems discussing it. It's such a quagmire and everything that's been tried to stop it has failed, Bushco just does whatever it wants to do without recrimination. You start feeling helpless to make a change and sort of give up talking about it, because it feels beat to death. Then, the news is overrun with talk about Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, the iPhone (I'm guilty of posting about them) - sexy stuff that causes citizens to put the war in the back seat. People are dying because politicians are lying, it amazing they're going to get away with it. There needs to be a true third party that will follow the Constitution, not find ways to ignore it.

I remember arguing that this was a lie and someone asking me if I was so sure that I would be willing to risk an atom bomb on American soil. I said yes. I would like to run into these people now and show them that they were enablers and explain that they have forfeited the right to ever express an opinion again and must stay in their basements and not come out especially during elections. (If we have them again.)

Do you know what happened to Rumsfeld? Is he still making money off the war?

Do you think Rummy left the board of directors of all the companies he's part of? Cheney just came out saying that he didn't agree with his leaving, at least that made me feel better.

I've always felt the FBI and CIA had top-notch people working for them, too bad so many were made the fall-guy and fired. What can they do when they're told to juice up the *facts*?:

Well, I'm just being realistic. Find a judge that Bush hasn't appointed who would pursue it. There's just not enough time left. Russ Feingold has a good idea with issuing a rebuke, just so it'll be on the record for history.
