Naomi Set For Cleanup Job At Sanitation Warehouse
Maid-bashin' fashion model Naomi Campbell has been assigned her five days of community service - a Monday-through-Friday stint mopping floors at a Sanitation Department warehouse on the Lower East Side.
Milan, it ain't.
The dastardly diva is scheduled to report for cleanup duty on March 19 at the gray cinderblock facility at Pier 36, on Montgomery and South streets.
She'll sweep, scrub, and tidy up, all while in indoors, away from the prying press, according to a law-enforcement source.
"This is not a desk job. She'll be mopping floors," said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Campbell was hit with five days' community service for striking her maid in the head with a Nokia cellphone - "accidentally," she claimed.
Manhattan prosecutors have said Campbell couldn't find a particular pair of jeans in her apartment at 500 Park Ave. last March, blamed housekeeper Ana Scolavino for "stealing" them, and flung the jewel-encrusted phone at her in a fit of rage.
Scolavino needed five stitches, and is the last in a line of four maids and assistants who have accused the hissy catwalker of attacking them.
Campbell must also complete two days of anger-management counseling. She's scheduled for sessions on Saturday and Sunday at a Department of Probation-approved facility in Brooklyn.
She canceled her past two appointments, a source said, but likely won't be hit with a probation violation so long as she completes the therapy and her service by her next court date in May.
